The campus of New-Horizons School of English (NSE) is located on the campus of Nazarene Theological College in the suburb of Thornlands in Redland City, 30 minutes’ drive south-east of Brisbane.
Redland City is one of Australia’s most diverse destinations. Fringed by Moreton Bay, the Redlands extends from Brisbane’s outer suburbs to the white, sandy beaches of North Stradbroke Island where it meets the majestic South Pacific Ocean. The region includes several sub-tropical islands set in beautiful Moreton Bay. It is a region steeped in history, which offers plenty to see and do. For more information, see Redlands Tourism at the Redland City Council website: http://www.redland.qld.gov.au/aboutredlands/visitorinfo/Pages/default.aspx
It is only a 50 minute drive south to the Gold Coast and 90 minutes north to the Sunshine Coast. The Gold Coast and the Sunshine Coast have some of the best beaches and surfing in the world. Modern commercial and shopping areas are located within minutes of NSE.
Redland City Council – Council are working on an Action plan to position Redlands as an education and innovation Hub. NSE is part of a consortium of local education providers in consultation with Council on the creation of an innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem for the Redlands.
NSE is set in a tranquil bushland environment, with local wildlife including wallabies and koalas. Our facilities include a modern classroom complex and two large double-story brick accommodation buildings. The campus also includes a basketball court, a tennis court and a BBQ area.
